With iziCast, the easy-to-use broadcasting app for iOS, you can go live from anywhere — your phone becomes your portable broadcast studio. iziCast is fully compatible with Icecast, and since Zeno uses Icecast technology under the hood, they work seamlessly together.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to:
• Set up your Zeno station
• Configure iziCast as your live source client
• Go live and start broadcasting to listeners across the globe

After registering, go to https://tools.zeno.fm and login to your account.
Click on the menu in the upper left corner (three horizontal lines) and select your station.
Now scroll down and tap on Broadcast settings.
After clicking on Broadcast settings as described above, a popup window with your server details appears (left image).
Open iziCast and click on Add on the main screen (not shown here).
Now select Icecast in the Add new server window (right image) and copy your login credentials from the Zeno website over to iziCast.
Next click on ADD in the upper right corner and you are ready to go live.
Select MP3 or AAC for the audio codec and make sure you do not use a higher bit rate than your Zeno plan allows you to.
The STARTER plan allows bit rates up to 192 kbps and the PRIME plan bit rates up to 320 kbps.
Next click on the play button in the upper left corner to go live.
Both, iziCast and Zeno will show you your current status.
After connecting to Zeno with iziCast, Zeno will reflect that you are being live on your station page.
It might take up to 10 seconds until the status changes to Live. If the status doesn't update, try reloading the web site.
On your station page you also find the direct stream URLs to share with your listeners. With one of these URLs your listeners can listen to your station in their favorite audio player.
To allow your listeners to listen to your station through their web browser, you can share a link to your very own station site by clicking on Zeno.FM in the zeno web site menu (three horizontal lines in the upper left corner) and share the Station URL.
