Streaming to your radio station is what iziCast does best. Connect to your own Icecast or Shoutcast server or to any compatible, and broadcast your show in studio quality.
- Your server, saved once. Enter host, port, mountpoint and password from your streaming host. From then on, going live is one tap.
- Song titles for your listeners. Type the name of your show, or let iziCast send the title of the current track from its metadata, in the format you choose.
- See who's listening. iziCast shows the current and peak listeners of your Icecast or Shoutcast server while you're on air.
- Stays on air. Keep streaming with the screen locked or while you use other apps. If the connection drops, iziCast reconnects automatically.

When your show needs a picture, iziCast also streams to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and any other RTMP service, with the same mixer and audio sources.
- Camera or image. Stream from any of your device's cameras, a single image, the album cover of the current track, or a black image to save bandwidth.
- Text on the image. Let iziCast write the current song title on your image, and change the image during the broadcast.
- Portrait or landscape. Rotate your device to switch. Enlarge the camera preview for a better overview.

Which streaming servers does iziCast work with?
Audio streams go to Icecast and Shoutcast servers and to any compatible streaming host. Audio and video go to any RTMP or RTMPS server, for example YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and Telegram.
Can I connect my USB audio interface or mixer?
Yes. Every class-compliant audio device works. On an iPhone or iPad with USB-C, connect it directly or with a simple USB-A to USB-C adapter. With Lightning you need Apple's "Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter", which works for audio interfaces too. See the list of tested devices.
Which audio codec should I use?
MP3 plays everywhere. AAC sounds better at the same bit rate and uses less battery, because it is hardware accelerated. Ogg Vorbis is a free, open codec, and FLAC delivers lossless quality if you have a fast connection. More about codecs.
Can I stream the audio of other apps?
If the app supports Audiobus, connect it to iziCast via Audiobus. Otherwise you can route its output through an external audio interface and select that interface as the input in iziCast.
Can I record my broadcasts?
Yes. Tap Start REC to record on your device, with or without streaming. You can listen to your recordings in the app, share them or delete them.
